3 Silver Awards for Stuart's Stowe Wedding Images

It was great to pick up 3 silver awards in the recent monthly SWPP competition, especially as the images were all from one wedding !  Sophie and Scott have some amazing images to remember their special day at Stowe House.

3 more lovely wedding images picked up awards in the monthly SWPP competition. We were particularly delighted to see the bridal portrait win an award, Jane showed that more mature brides can look stunning on their wedding day :-)  Jane and David celebrated their special day at The Vineyard Stockcross in Berkshire.  The beautiful romantic photograph of Natalie and Ben on their wedding day in one of the wonderful bedrooms at Le Manoir aux quat Saisons in Oxfordshire.  The beautiful traditional wedding photograph is of Zoe who had her wedding at Wasing Park in Berkshire

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for Stuart's Le Manoir wedding images

Le Manoir aux quat saison in Oxfordshire, is one of our favourite wedding venues, so we were thrilled when 3 images from recent weddings there picked up monthly photographic awards with the SWPP.  A gold award for the fun photojournalistic shot of the wind blowing the veil on Emma and David's wedding.  They also feature in the image that won the silver award, there is more to this image than meets the eye, as the lake at Le Manoir is undergoing refurbishment and it took a bit of digital magic to bring it back to all it's glory :-)  The bronze award went to Victoria and Steve's romantic twilight shot taken at the front of Le Manoir.

RHS Silver Guilt for Stuart !

Stuarts passion for photography is matched by his love of Tree Ferns as these fine art studies show.  His fine art photography has won him many awards most notably this Silver Guilt awarded by the Royal Horticultural Society at the Great Autumn Show.

Wedding Images Win International Awards of Excellence

We were thrilled when these two images were awarded "Accolades of Excellence" in the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International half yearly awards. 

Both images were in the photojournalism category, the top image was of a bride helping to get a bridesmaid ready before her wedding at Le Manoir aux quat Saisons, the other image was of some wedding guests at a wedding in Christ Church College in Oxford.

2 Top Wedding Awards for Stuart

We are delighted to announce that Stuart has been awarded not one but two of the industries top wedding awards at the recent Societies Convention in London.

CONTEMPORARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2009

The winning images were selected from thousands of entrants, Stuart's photography has been recognised in the past by winning Traditional Wedding Photographer of the Year in 2008 and Contemporary Photographer of the Year in 2007, so it is particularly humbling to win the 2 categories in one year.

                    

Latest Award Winning Photographs

It has been a busy year so far, and we are always delighted when any of our images are honoured with an award, we thought you might like to see some of the latest winners :-)

This beautiful image of Kate was taken on her wedding day at Rhinefield House in Dorset, this classic pose with lovely lighting won a Gold Award in the Traditional Wedding category of The Societies monthly print competition.

This image was taken on Rhonda's wedding day at Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons in Oxfordshire, in true photojournalistic style it has captured a moment and told a story.  This wedding image received a Gold Award from the judges in the Wedding photojournalism category in The Societies monthly awards.

Now for something a bit different.... The depth and range of Stuart's photography covers many aspects from high tech laser experiments to beautiful wedding photography and now fine art studies of animals.  This stunning image captures the grace and strength of this lovely young pony, we were lucky when the wind caught his mane to give some movement to the picture and of course some wonderful lighting.
