Christmas is always a magical time, even more so when it is combined with a wedding. We thought you would like to see a few images from Nick and Emma's wedding at Waddesdon last Saturday.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Where has that year gone, I cant believe that we are nearly at the end of the year, and what a year, full of wonderful people allowing us the share in the celebrations of their special day. Once again some of Stuart's images have been fortunate to have won awards in the last monthly SWPP competition. All the images which have been awarded "Gold" awards throughout the year will now go forward to the grand final which will be announced at the SWPP awards dinner in January. People often ask "Why do you enter competitions?" believe it or not, it is not the winning, but more pushing yourself to produce some great images, always looking at ways to improve and present the photography.
Just to prove that surfing isn't always blue skies and warm seas, this image was taken in autumn at Manley beach near Sydney Australia. The image won a gold award in the sports category of the October SWPP monthly competition, and will now go through to the grand final which will be announced in January.
