Stuart was able to make running repairs to Michele's wedding dress, not only a dab hand with a camera - he can sew as well !!
We have just got back from a truly amazing family holiday in New Zealand, 3 weeks of fantastic scenery, we toured both the North and South Islands and were stunned by the beauty of each area we visited. Needless to say one or two photographs were taken... Stuart has edited down to approx 1500, and I have yet to edit the family camera images !

Its a tough life being a photographer...... especially when one of the best international photographic conventions is in Las Vegas USA. It hosts one of the most prestigious international photographic competitions and a catalogue of cutting edge photographic seminars from the worlds top photographers. I am always of the opinion that through life you should always be striving to learn new things, always push yourself that extra mile, well I certainly learnt lots of new things and have been inspired by the best of the best. This year I took our daughter Sarah, who has been assisting me on weddings for the past year - was I doing the right thing letting our 21 year old daughter loose in Las Vegas......luckily my credit card was safely in my pocket ! For the first time Sarah entered some of her images in the Premier category of the WPPI print competition, and boy did she do well, 2 of her images won Awards of Excellence scoring 80 and 82, these images will now be reproduced in the WPPI year book.
I also entered some of my favourite images of the year and am delighted to say that all the following images won Awards of Excellence.
I am really excited about the new wedding season, winning awards is always the icing on the cake BUT at the end of the day the best reward is a happy client who love their images.
We had a lovely time photographing Sarah Tom and little Harry, he had great fun playing with the bubbles and showing me all his wonderful toys, we even managed to pop to the playground and play on the swings.
